A Nodaway County school will be the site of a blood drive

RAVENWOOD, Mo. - The Northeast Nodaway High School Student Council will be hosting the Community Blood Center blood drive in the high school’s gymnasium. School counselor Abbie Groomer said the student council has been doing a blood drive for the last several years.

“We strongly encourage people to come out this time of year. We’re still in need of blood and so we sponsored it at this time to help them boost their donations,” said Groomer.

Groomer adds that they usually done a blood drive in the Winter and Spring. The blood drive is Wednesday, Dec. 18, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Northeast Nodaway High School gym at 126 S. High School Ave.
